With summer ending, now is the ideal time to do some essential maintenance around your flat. One area that can be overlooked is checking and oiling window hinges and locking mechanisms. This should be done every six months or so, to ensure reliability and longevity of the windows. Failure to do this relatively simple job can lead to jammed or broken windows, requiring expensive repairs.
